Yes, I do remember running an ifconfig and noting that the PROMISC option was 
shown on eth0.
Anything else that might be useful? The machine dual-boots right now (which is 
what I'm hoping to eliminate with VB)... I could try it on a Win2k host, but 
that's an awfully big variable.
