In your WIN XP guest, go to Control Panel => Regional Settings. There, select Languages and click on the "Detail" button.. Then check if you've set your real keyboard and layout.

The host I am using is Vista and the Guest is XP Pro. How do I set the keyboard in the guest? If I do set it in the guest, will I also be able to use it in the host. I have two monitors, so I use both OS's at the same time and switch back and forth, and it is seamless. I hope this is more information!!!
