I am using Windows 2000 as the Host and Windows 2000/Ubuntu 7 as guests. At some point after installing Additions the cursor get confused and a solid black rectange is drawn around the cursor. In Windows 2000 you can solve this by reducing the Hardware Acceleration slider down one notch in the Display Properties.
