I have had the same problem. My specs are as follows. Please let me know
if you need any more information.
-OS X 10.4.10
-GCC 4.2
-vbox svn rev: 4180
Main error is :
kBuild: Compiling RuntimeR3 - generic/critsect- generic.cpp
{standard input}:465:no such 386 instruction: `movzx'
Obviously this is a processor instruction limitation of some kind. I'm
wondering if it has to do with powerpc versus intel mac?? I would be happy
to help work this out with you and update the Mac OS X instructions.
