Hello David,

1) The vboxnet script does not create the bridge, it just adds the
vbox<n> interface to it if it exists.

2) If you already have a reasonably advanced setup and understand what
it does, you do not really need to use those scripts, which are there to
make things easy for new users.  It will be enough to create the bridge
and the tap interface yourself (a static tap interface that is) and to
tell the VM to use that interface.
