Hello, The Linux kernel on the Ubuntu 6.10 isos contains a known bug which can cause it to hang on boot inside a VM. If you can manage to update the kernel package that may resolve this issue. In general though, we would recommend using a different Ubuntu (6.06, 7.04 and 7.10 desktop editions are all known to work well. The server editions do not at present, and 6.06 server contains the bug mentioned above).
