NEW GLITCHES/BACK TO SQUARE ONE

In Virtual Box Settings USB Controller is Enabled.
USB Flash Disk [0110] and
Camera [0100] are both ticked.

when i Boot Windows XP and
check on Devices,
USB Devices shows blank

I check Windows/Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manger/
Universal Serial Bus controllers are working properly.

I insert a USB device in USB port and its NOT recognized.
----------------------------------------------------------
usbsf is still in Users and Groups with ID 1500
----------------------------------------------------------
After re-booting Ubuntu
the USB Controller had disappeared from Virtual Box.
I presume the command:
mount -t usbfs none /proc/bus/usb
was a temporary solution as stated in:
http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:VMware_-_USB_support

So i am back to square one with no USB controller
in Virtual Box.
Please HELP...
Victor

Yesterday I upgraded to Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Successfully.
My Virtual Box (Windows XP) also was upgraded to Gutsy .386.
When started Virtual Box I noticed that my USB ports where not there.
In "Settings" I get the following message:
Failed to access the USB Subsystem.
Could not load the Host USB Proxy Service
(VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND).
The service might be not installed on the host computer.
Result code: 0x80004005
Component: Host
Interface: (bunch of lettrs and numbers)
Callee: (bunch of letters and numbers)
I checked all my USB Ports on Ubuntu and they all work properly.
Please I need help.
What steps should I take to have the USB Ports to work on Virtual Box.
Thank you.
Victor
