Dear all, I installed virtualbox in my Debian testing distribution. After that I created a virtual guest (MS-WXP) therein. After I configured all stuff, things go pretty well. The point is that I have Debian configured in such a way that it upgrades itself in a monthly basis. Now, the Debian virtualbox package is upgraded to virtualbox-ose_1.5.2-dfsg-2_i386.deb (and the corresponding source). The guest does not work anymore!!!. This thing do not surprise me, but I did not notice it, until too late :-( . The options I can see are:
1) reinstall all MS-WXP (nearly impossible for me) 2) find the old packages of virtualbox and downgrade ... 3) convert the virtual machine guest to the new version of the package What I like the most is 3. Is it possible? Is there any utility to update the guest? If this is not already done, it could be a nice improvement to the virtualbox package ... Any other suggestion? (in the case of the need of use 2) By the way, any of you (Debian users) know where to find older versions of packages??? Thanks a lot. Best wishes, Wenceslao _______________________________________________ vbox-users mailing list [email protected] http://vbox.innotek.de/mailman/listinfo/vbox-users
