Hi list, it has been reported before that there are some issues regarding iPhone USB connection on Windows guests. See for example http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/491
Apple seems to have an odd way to use USB. Other virtualization solutions show the same problem. VMWare has a patch for that, but it seems it only works when the Windows VM is also hosted on Windows.
