What I did is add the following line in my /etc/fstab
MySharedFolder /mnt/share/MySharedFolfer vboxsf
defaults - -
Of course /mnt/share/MySharedFolder must be created first.
MySharedFolder is the name you gave it when you configured
in the main vbox settiings for shared folders.

Hello everybody,
I have problems mounting my shared folders automatically -- how can I
do this?
Host is Windows XP, SP2
Guest is Kubuntu 7.10.
Manually, ist is no problem:
Mount -t vboxsf Shared /mnt/vm-shared
In /etc/fstab I add the following:
Shared /mnt/vm-shared
vboxsf auto,rw 0 0
What am I doing wrong?
Kind regards,
Georg Eichhorn
