Hello A D,

I'm afraid that bridging under Linux is not for the faint of heart.  I
don't know if either of these will help you, but 1) when you reboot, any
permissions/ownership changes to /dev/net/tun will be reverted and 2)
eth1 should not have an address and so on set on it - br0 should be
given eth1's configuration.
