I built Win2k3 guest on VBox 1.6 (Ubuntu). After upgrade of VBox to 1.6.2 everything worked perfectly. But I noticed that my Guest Add On is outdated (1.6 on 1.6.2 VBox) so I upgraded it. And the service stopped to work:
Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the VirtualBox Guest Additions Service service to connect. The VirtualBox Guest Additions Service service failed to start due to the following error: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. Manual start does not work either. On the other hand VBox Add On icon is on task tray and at least some features are working (for example shared folders). Any ideas how to fix it? (Reinstallation did not helped. BTW: The error remained even after deinstallation!)
