The Developers forgot to turn off "debugging"
They are feverishly working to get 1.6.6 out soonly.
I have read that you can turn off writing to the log file by writing
to your Environment Variables:
VBOX_LOG_DEST=nofile
on another note, 100mb is not bad considering I have found files over
1gb in a 16hour period!!
cheers.

The new VirtualBox version 1.6.4 installed on Linux keeps writing a
large logfile (100MB in a week) in my home directory full of lines
like:
remR3NotifyTrap: uTrap=7 error=0 next_eip=0064a054 eip=0064a054
cr2=81806e58
What is this? Something to worry about? Or just a left-over debug
output in the release version? How do I get rid of it?
