Hello list

I've just installed VirtualBox 1.6.4 using Linux Slackware as host and
WindowsXP as guest (inside vbox)...

Used NAT networking but found two inconvenients:

- If I configure an IP from my subnet 192.168.1.x the windows vbox is able
to ping and access itself, but it is not able to reach my local network
computers as if it were isolated, even Internet does not work

- If I configure using Obtain IP automatically then I can access internet,
but am not able to access my other computers too since thery are different
subnets.

My question is, how can I make the guest system to have the same subnet as
my other computers in the local network?

And one last doubt, don't understand very much about vbox networking, the
manual mentions a DHCP server, but is it internal to the box and isolated
from the local network? My doubt is because my router has a DHCP server
integrated and my linux boxes use dchp sometimes from the router, so my
doubt is if the vbox dhcp would interfer with the router dhcp...

Thanks for any help
