Hi,

I've always wondered what the effect of increasing/decreasing Video
Memory in the VM.

It turns out if you have it set too low, you can't resize the entire
screen to make use of displays with a lot of `real estate'

In my situation, I have displays which are 1900x1200. I had a VM on
my desktop where I had the Video Memory set at 4MB. When I attempted
to resize it to take up more of my display, the VM wouldn't re-size
properly.

By increasing the Video Memory to 8MB, I can take advantage of my
1900x1200 display.

Cheers,
