Uh-oh!

I spoke too soon. For some reason, smb write speeds have cratered again
even
with the new VBoxMRXNP.dll (Ver. 2.0.1.36477) installed. A full 55 seconds to
transfer 1.6M to a foreign host. Hmm, the only changes made was to enable a
shared folder on the host machine. One thing that I did notice that might be
contributing to the problem was when I mapped the shared folder on the host, it
wanted to map it as \\VBOXSRV\tmp when the actual netbios name of the guest is
"alchemy-xp".

This may be worth another look for a possible bug that occurs when both
smb
shares are mapped and shared folders are used. It looks like this situation is
causing the xp-guest to have '2' netbios names. That could be confusing for
networking. I'll try removing the shared folder, but in the mean time could
someone else confirm this behavior with the new VBoxMRXNP.dll? Thanks.
