With very freshly released distros, they have the very latest in xorg and other things. With Fedora 10, it operates fine. But with guest additions, it will install fine but have compatibility issues due to the version of xorg. That was the deal with Ubuntu 8.10. It was very fresh and the latest release of virtualbox at the time was released a bit before. I am sure the virtualbox developers cannot predict what version of a package the distro packagers are going to release with so they fix it afterwards when the version release is "written in stone". The same I believe will happen with Fedora 10 as it did with Fedora 9. Either way, try it out. There are some workarounds on the forums if you check. _______________________________________________ vbox-users mailing list [email protected] http://vbox.innotek.de/mailman/listinfo/vbox-users
