Are the archives of ths list searchable? Running OpenSolaris under VirtualBox 2.0.6 under Tiger on a MacBook.
It appears that when the MacBook sleeps, VM's clock likewise sleeps. This morning Solaris was several hours slow. It's easy to imagine a way this could happen: VBox maintains a virtual clock and updates it periodically, or on command from VM. During Mac sleep, updates fail to happen. Better would be to maintain a register of the offset between Mac clock and virtual clock, and update it only when VM sets the clock. The skew was not fixed by Restart from VM; only by Shutdown from VM and restart from VBox. (I fixed it, also, by "su; rdate india.colorado.edu".) Do I need to run NTP client?
