I can tell you first-hand that upgrading from the previous version does
not work for me. Uninstalling the previous version and installing fresh
is not working for me either. I run Fedora 10.
It seems to install fine but when I try to run it, it says:
"VirtualBox - Critical Error"
(X) Failed to create the VirtualBox COM object.
The application will now terminate.
