Just saw the announcement of 2.1 and wanted to try out the 64bit client support on my MacBook Pro.

Hardware: MacBook Pro (2008) 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB RAM
Host OS: MacOSX 10.5.6 (fresh install, i.e. only got the machine 4 days ago, although had installed VirtualBox 2.0 with a 32bit Fedora 10 client)

Client OS: Installing from Fedora-10-x86_64-DVD.iso

Selected Fedora (64bit) when creating VM. IO-APC and VT-x enabled.

Result: Boot from DVD Iso and commence install. Fails at random point sometimes very early (before formatting drive) sometimes quite late (during installation of packages).

Error: install exited abnormally [1/1]

Any advice? I would love to run a 64bit Fedora client, if possible.

Thanks,
JZ
