Ok, the original question was: "Can i install vbox on a win 2003
host?" The answer is yes, by implication, you can also run vbox on a
win 2003 host, I mean, why would you only want to install it, but not
run it?

Now, it should really be common sense that win 2003 means Microsoft
Windows server 2003. The context should make this clear, if nothing
else does. When someone speaks of running windows for example, you
automatically know they don't mean frames with glass in them, which
have legs, and can run, the context makes very clear what a
question/statement like this is supposed to mean.

Now, let's site the manual, or maybe I should say the user's guide,
since I want to make it clear that I'm not talking about a pipe
organ's keyboard. Section 1.4, Supported host operating systems in the
virtualbox user's guide/manual, says: "Currently, VirtualBox is
available for the following host operating systems: ? Windows hosts: -
Windows XP, all service packs (32-bit) - Windows Server 2003 (32-bit)"
There, I've just sited the manual.

As for the comment that this info should be on the virtualbox.org
site, because it's too much to ask someone to download the user's
guide/manual, never mind downloading virtualbox itself, my response is
that maybe instead of having to go to the grocery store to buy food,
cook it, chew, and swallow, we all should have it brought to us,
cooked, and chewed, because the process of swallowing it is difficult
enough already.

Really, I'm shocked sometimes by the things that people choose to
bicker over. If your biggest problem in life is what exactly "win
2003" means, or why a certain piece of information is stated here, but
not there, then I think I wouldn't at all mind being in your
shoes, get a life folks! Ok, I think that about covers all I wanted to
say here. Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate it.

Greg
