It looks like, for some reason, my post has been truncated. Here is the rest
of the post (as stored by my mail client):

>From within VirtualBox's Virtual Media Manager's "Add an existing
medium" function, I can browse to the containing folder, but I can't
get into the folder to see the disk file, and the load fails:

Could not open the hard disk '/Users/jd/Documents/Virtual
Machines.localized/WindowsXPPro.vmwarevm'.
VD: error opening image file '/Users/jd/Documents/Virtual
Machines.localized/WindowsXPPro.vmwarevm' (VERR_IS_A_DIRECTORY).

Result Code:
NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component:

Callee:
IVirtualBox {339abca2-f47a-4302-87f5-7bc324e6bbde}

How
do I browse to the disk image file from within the VIrtualBox
interface? Is it necessary to copy or move the file from its existing
location? If so, I may not be willing, as I prefer to test
VirtualBox's support for the image before making it
unavailable/unusable to VMWare.

Thanks,
~John
