Yes! The box came with 2GB. I added additional 2GB. Is there a Solaris command that shows me the installed and recognized RAM? I tried prtdiag, but this does not seem to work on AMD machines!? -bash-3.00# prtdiag prtdiag: failed to open SMBIOS: System does not export an SMBIOS table I am just about to retry it on a X2200 (4 cores, 8 GB), but I remember that I have already seen this performance difficulties on this machine too.
