Listmates,

For the first time since before 1.5.6, I had a problem installing
VirtualBox
on opensuse. I downloaded the openSuSE 11.0 x86_64 rpm and went to install as
usual:

00:40 alchemy:~> sudo rpm -Uvh
/mnt/nirvana-cfg/srv/www/download/openSUSE_11.0/x86_64/VirtualBox-2.1.0_41146_openSUSE11-1.x86_64.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
   1:VirtualBox ########################################### [100%]

Creating group 'vboxusers'. VM users must be member of that group!

Stopping VirtualBox kernel module done
/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.1611: line 17: /etc/init.d/vboxnet: No such file or directory

Huh? the install shouldn't be calling /etc/init.d/vboxnet It is right,
it
doesn't exist in 2.1.0

00:50 alchemy:~> rpm -ql VirtualBox | grep vboxnet | grep -v vboxnetflt
00:50 alchemy:~>

It would appear there is some old code lingering about.
