In situations where the guest additions are really necessary for performance, 
video, etc., forget win98 with vbox. Vbox is dependent upon the guest 
additions.

Qemu, on the otherhand, presents common hardware for emulation and has no 
problem with win98. However, it is still too slow to be of much use.
