Careful... the Ubuntu repository version is the OSE: http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/misc/virtualbox-ose <http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?suite=intrepid&searchon=names&keywords=virtualbox> So if he has actually been running the PEUL version, and hasn't added the _virtualbox_ repository: http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian intrepid non-free and key, it won't work. He will get: E: couldn't find package virtualbox-2.1. It appears that he does have the _virtualbox_ repository in his /etc/apps/sources.list as he indicated that it worked for him, but (IMO) it's always best to distinguish between the two. _______________________________________________ vbox-users mailing list [email protected] http://vbox.innotek.de/mailman/listinfo/vbox-users
