Because of a flaky wireless connection for the SO's PC downstairs,
I've just installed a pair of (Solwise) 85Mbps 'homeplugs', which work
fine.
However, when I installed their setup program on WinXP under
VirtualBox, it was unable to 'see' the plugs (no problem under real
WinXP), though I can access the internet normally via e.g. Firefox.
Can anyone suggest what the missing link is there, please?!
At the moment the Network settings are the default (i.e. I have not
set any of these values myself):
(Adapter 1) Adapter type: PCnet-FAST III (am79C973)
Attached to: NAT
MAC address: 080027xxxxxx
with all other fields greyed out.
