I want to clone an existing guest system so I can take a working
system, screw it up as I test things and then throw it away.

So, I thought VirtualBox should be able to do this with very little
effort, so far I'm not doing too well.

I finally got "VboxManage clonehd" to work after I discovered that it
needs a full path to the disk being cloned. Then I couldn't find the
image it had created because it put it in a new directory called
HardDisks rather than in the existing default VDI directory where my
existing images were.

So, I've created the disk image, now I can't get to use it because
it's not "Attached to:" anything yet. How do I attach it?

Surely simply copying a working virtual machine should be easier than
this!

(OK, I could use snapshots but cloning machines seems somehow cleaner)
