FWIW: I re-installed the 2.2.4 Guest Addtions (GA) over the top of the
3.0 GA and still had the same problem.

- Thinking that do so without first uninstalling 3.0 GA might be a
problem, I uninstalled the GA (Control Panel/Add Remove Programs),
rebooted and checked; paste option is now available in the guest Windows
Explorer.

- I then reinstalled the 2.2.4 GA (remember this is VirtualBox 3.0),
rebooted the guest (Win2KPro). No luck, the paste function is again no
longer available in WE.
