Folks,
just upgraded my VBox to 3.0.0. On my Tecra M9 running Nevada 102.
Then, from my Sun Ray in the office, I did do a :
xhost + laptop
ssh laptop
exec bash
export DISPLAY=sunray-name:display-number
VirtualBox
Guess, what happens?
That starting of VirtualBox DOES KILL MY XSESSION on the Sun Ray, and funny
enough, I did get a NEW session on the same Sun Ray Server, with the same
Display ID, and NO LOGIN/PW question!
I tried it again, this time I was asked to login...
But: Main problem: WHY DOES starting a VirtualBox with a different Xserver
(not the one on :0.0) KILL THAT Xserver? That should not happen, and did not
happen before!
Is it trying to use some properties, that might not be available in my fvwm95
window manager? Do I need to run GNOME or KDE or CDE or whatever?
Very confused (and a bit upset, as I had to reshuffle my settings...)
Matthias
