Thanks for all the help. The version for VirtualBox.org the USB flash drive runs okay. It's a bit awkward moving files from the Ubuntu host to Tiny XP under VirtualBox but its workable. sudo mount -t vboxsf Lattice /media now gives unknown filesystem type 'vboxsf' but I have installed the Lattice from software from usb and it looks like it's running I get the start screen.
