Hi,

Follow these instructions on the official forum:

thank you for the link :-)

with Q, it's possible to use /etc/fstab
i don't understand exactly why it is not possible to use it now

could someone explain me the mechanism, please ?

i've understood Q's mechanism :
it emulates a smb server beside the VM, which gives access to shared folders Q has additions only for windows, which does all automatically so that a virtual disk appears on the desktop ... on linux, we have to parameter /etc/fstab, and if it is too annoying because a temporary need, we are able to just use an smb client to access shared folders, instead :-)

it feels like with VB it is much more complicated, isn't it ?

hi :-)

i thought that the VB additions would make all automatically so that the shared folders come on the desktop without any action from the user,
but reading the help it seems that we have to use the "mount" tool

problem : i'm still learning linux, and i don't know tools like "mount"
i chose ubuntu because it is a lot intuitive

i have found "gigolo" tool,
can i use it to access shared folders ?
