No, you cannot use several CD devices at the same time in the guest,
VirtualBox provides only *one* virtual CD drive.
So in the guest a CD/DVD copy is only possible in two separate steps:
First copy the CD/DVD to an image file on disk and then copy this
image file back to the writable CD/DVD.
Like anonother poster mentioned it, I ususally do something like this
also direct on my (Linux) host system. ;-)
