Hi!
I'm running VirtualBox 3.0.6 on an opensuse 11.1 x64, on a PhenomX4.
Windows XP VMs with a single core run w/o any problems.

When installing with 2 cores, and thus using the ACPI/MP-HAL, the virtual
machine hangs after saving its state and restoring it - each time.
CPU-Load is usually at 200%, then; in some cases, I get blue screen and
"PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" (STOP 0x50).

The problem does not appear when no guest additions are installed.

Versions:
host: opensuse 11.1 x64, PhenomX4
VirtualBox-ose 3.0.6 from OpenSUSE Build Service
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Virtualization:/VirtualBox/openSUSE_11.1/
guest: Windows XP Pro SP3, fully patched
any number of cores (1-4), once the XP was installed with multiple cores.
GA: PUEL and OSE.

I'm not sure in how far this problem was also in earlier version, as I just
started using 2core-vms on that machine.

Yours,
Sebastian
