Hi all,
we have tested v.3.0.4 and v3.0.6 on a X2200. It seemed to work fine.
We therefore finally installed in on a X4240 and thus upgraded from
2.0.6 to 3.0.6 on this machine. That was a mistake. The machine crashed
after a while of use. We restarted the machine, it crashed (the
complete machine) again. We tried that a few times, always with the
same result. Finally we disabled the cronjob entry that automatically
restarts the virtual machines. Now the machine is running stable. We
therefore think that vbox v3.0.6 is the problem and somehow manages to
get the whole machine donw. VBox v2.0.6 worked quite well on this
machine!
Is this a known bug/issue! What can we do/provide to help getting this
fixed? We find that v3.0.6 works fine on a X2200!? Very weird! Help is
greatly appreciated!
