I also can reproduce the same problem with Debian Sid (kernel 2.6.30)
running on Virtualbox 3.0.10. However, on a real machine, e.g. Acer
Aspire One, no such problem.
Anyone know how to fix it? Or is it a bug for Virtualbox 3.0.10?

When you do this, you are under host system, NOT UNDER GUEST
Oops... I put it in wrong way... actually here I only install text mode
of Ubuntu 9.10 (as mentioned in 1), so after booting, I login directly
in "virtual console 1".
Anyway, I am sure the problem does exist in the guest system.

Those workarounds do not work here.

This uvesafb issue still exists on virtualbox 3.1.2. Anything more I can
test or I can contribute? Any chance it can be fixed in the future release?
