Hi

The next time I get a upgrade reminder I will check what keyboard key I can
use to get rid of the popup and advise, if I do a help Check for updates
which is Alt, H then Alt, H again I get the system is already running the
most recent version of VB and all I then have to do is press enter to get
rid of this popup

Hope this helps
Michael

|Subject: [vbox-users] The "New version available" message
|
|Hello!
|
|I'm running VirtualBox from within a Fedora 12 system, x86. I
|installed a .repo file with the following baseurl:
|er/$basearch>
|
|The current available version from there, is
|3.0.12_54655_fedora12-1.i686. That's OK, althoth there is
|newer versions available.
|
|From time to time, VirtualBox reminds me about that, and
|because I'm blind, I have no way to close this dialog. It's
|not possible, as long as I can see, to use the keyboard to
|access the OK button. You need to use the mouse, which is
|impossible for me.
|
|Is there:
|
|1) a way to get access to the OK button from the keyboard?
|
|or
|
|2) a way to prevent these messages from appearing?
|
|BTW: How ofthen is the repository updated?
|
|Lars
