Hi all,

is'nt there any other method to synchronize the clocks? I find it not very comfortable to install guest-additions, which (I assume) are changing between every releases and therefore must be reinstalled or updated every time, when the next vbox-release is out. As I ran XEN I also synchronized via ntp and that worked which makes me think, that something is wrong with virtualbox' time-slicing?

Does anybody has an idea how to synchronized *without* guest-additions?

Thank you very much in advance and warm regards,

Thomas

I am running VirtualBox 3.1.2 on ubuntu-server-8.04.3 with 10 virtual guests (also 8.04.3-server). In every guest-machine the time is not the same as in my host-machine. It is lagging.

Do you have guest additions installed in all of your guests? Those
should take care of synchronizing the time.
