FreeBSD guests do have additions. They are part of the code tree, but are not built. FreeBSD Guest Additions (GA) can be downloaded from FreeBSD community. OpenBSD GA do not exist. Since some ppl use BSDs for server workloads, yes, they run them without GA. Many of VBox fixes for BSDs are not for GA, but for VMM (the engine). -- -Alexey Eromenko "Technologov"
