Hi Matthias,
I found the command;
# chkconfig --level 35 vboxdrv off
to check whether VirtualBox is running after booting;
$ lsmod | grep vboxdrv
B.R.

I'm also only a USER, and I'm not using Linux, so I can't answer that specific
questions...
