Subject: [vbox-users] hardware performance counters?

I see these messages on fedora f12:

Feb 26 07:00:59 localhost kernel: vboxdrv: Warning: 2.6.31+ kernel
detected.
Most likely the hardware performance
Feb 26 07:00:59 localhost kernel: vboxdrv: counter framework which can
generate NMIs is active. You have to prevent
Feb 26 07:00:59 localhost kernel: vboxdrv: the usage of hardware

counters by

/proc/sys/kernel/perf_counter_paranoid
Feb 26 07:00:59 localhost kernel: VBoxDrv: dbg -
g_abExecMemory=ffffffffa0c16dc0

offMax=0x1259

But vbox seems to work fine. Should I ignore these messages?
