I fully agree with Joep: it is a pity to close the mailing list and I would certainly support a plead for reconsideration by Sun. But I also want to thank all contributors for their shared wisdom in supporting vbox (used vmware for a long time, but have recently and happily made the switch to vbox).
And concerning forums, I am member of some, but the simplicity and effectiveness of a mailing list is far superior.
