roaming usres - ip logging

i noticed that in vpop 4.8.5 (don't know about earlier versions), ip's
appear to be logging in both tcp.smtp.auth and in the relay table in the
mysql db.  This may be wanted behavior, i don't know, but I thought I'd
relay my observation.
