I'm not sure what I did but now it's working fine.
Looks like it has something to do with "--enable-tcpserver-file=" compile
option. I've put exact path to temporary created tcp.file and compiled
vpopmail. Interesting, that after compiling I've removed tcp.file and
tcp.file.cdb, and vpopmail still works. Also, another option that I used
in configure is "--enable-roaming-users=n" to avoid /etc/open-smtp* files
(we don't have roaming users).
Also, I've put the same options (--enable-roaming-users=n
--enable-tcpserver-file=/path/to/tcp.file) in configure for 4.8a, and now
it works fine too.
So, basically, my question is what is purpose of that tcpserver-file, if I
can safely delete it after compilation?
Thanks.
