I agree that repatching each new version is a pain, but I am almost certain
it is less of a pain than maintaining .qmail files for each user (which is
why you use vpopmail in the first place), given that all it takes is
removing a few lines in vdelivermail.c. I haven't done it myself, as I like
dash-ext functionality, but it by looking through the code it seems esay
enough.

I think Ken once posted a solution to this. It might still apply for the
latest version.

But,... your suggestion would be useful. Many people have requested this
before.
