I did a chown -R vpopmail:vchkpw afterwards. Still doesn't work as it
should.

It did as it made me look at /var/qmail/users/assign and replace the
old uid/gid with the new one (IIRC did Ken say something like this but
it looks like I missed that one...). Thanks.
