New to Linux, I finally built a Qmail server that works
well with local users (/etc/passwd) and Maildir,
thanks to this mailing list and all the documents
I read.
I use Mandrake 6.1, Qmail 1.03, Ucspi-tcp-0.88,
Daemontools-0.61 and would like my server to work
with Vpopmail-4.8.5 the following way :
Several domains and users are in
/home/vpopmail/domains/dom1.com/testmailer/Maildir/...
....................../dom2.com/userx/Maildir/...
The "run" programs in /var/qmail/supervise/qmail-pop3d
and qmail-smtpd are using tcpserver with
the uid and gid of vpopmail/vchkpw and
the -x /home/vpopmail/etc/tcp.smpt.cdb
In the /var/qmail/control are the files :
me = locals = poste48.rod.fr
defaultdomain = plusdomain = rod.fr
virtualdomains = dom1.com:dom1.com
On my DNS server, all is OK for *.rod.fr
as I can send and receive mails.
To that point, I know how to set anything.
I even can send mails with the account :
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
but when someone tries to send a mail
to that address, it bounces.
Can someone help ?
