Hello hopefully someone can help me out. I have installed the following: vpopmail 4.8.5 courier-imap 0.99 IMP 2.0.11 mysql 3.22.22 All compiled and installed with no obvious errors. I am having problems logging in via IMP through IMAP. Here is my problem: When i start the IMAP server I can log in with both /etc/passwd and vchkpw authentication. After a few logins testing it out it fails for vchkpw logins and I get the console message vsql_getpw: failed select I can still log in with /etc/passwd authentication. When i restart courier-imap the authentication works fine again for a few logins (10 at most). I have tried tweaking the ../courier-imap/etc/authdaemonrc file to read the following: authmodulelist="authvchkpw authpam" Can someone tell me the correct combination of versions they are using on a RedHat 6.1 box to get this going properly ? Or if there is something I have to check to get this to work properly. I have been at this for a week now. Thanks in advance !! T
