Is (has) anyone looked into using something like immunix.org's compiler to protect qmail/vpopmail etc. from stack smashing attacks? Is anyone familiar with the exposure of these programs to this type of attack? Is it a non-issue due to the exceptional coding techniques / raw talent of qmail&vpopmail programmers? ;-) And no, I don't work for, or have any other self-interest in immunix. I've just been reading up on these methods of stack smashing attack prevention. H.A.G.D. -doug
