I'm trying to install vpopmail 4.9.4 into my slackware 7.1, kernel 2.2.16
with qmail installed and running. I read the FAQ, and question #21 said:

21. Why can pop authenticate on my slackware distribution.?
Some distributions of slackware (current distro as of July/2000)
do not come with a functional crypt routine. To fix the problem
you must install the real crypt libraries and recompile.

So, my questions are:
Where "the real crypt libraries" are ??
From where can I download them ???
